Yesterday I realized that i am left handed. Seriously!! I always forget that i am the one.
As a “lefty,” I feel a little different, only when i remember that i am among 10% population in world. At some moment I struggled with trying to fit into a right-handed world. Whenever some novice look me writing with left hand, gets surprised " OMG !! your are lefty".It feels embarrassing a bit because i feel i am different from others. Feeling different from others !! good or bad?? Don't know!
As it is about being left handed, ,then i would like to share my experiences with you. The one which happens everyday, bonking elbows with a rightly at the table in mess. I try to sit on the far left side of the table so I don’t bump the person next to me, the entire time I’m eating. This is really funny because the person who sits on my left side may always say that "kashala baslo yachya shejari ". Same thing happens in classroom, always have to adjust with bench mates.
I actually love being left handed. The funniest thing I always hear that "lefties have beautiful handwriting" It makes me laugh everytime I hear that comment.My handwriting is not that good so i always hide it, not because it isn't good but because i am lefty. When i was young, i used to go to temple not daily but once in a week. Whenever I have extended my left hand for prasad the person next to use say "No sanskar at all" What man !! lefty sodun baki sagale sanskari a ka ???
My favorite thing is computer. Thanks to my dad who taught me to use mouse of the computer from right hand when i was in 6th std. I didn't struggle in operating computers even my lappy. But even i am lefty i can't use my left hand to operate the mouse!! i can't even click buttons on it. Strange for me !!!
Have you ever handshaked with lefty ?? i always find myself in trouble because even if i want i can't extend my right hand and the person next to me gets surprised. Then he extends left and I extend right. I don't know how to deal with this situations.
I wonder why most of great persons are left handed??? were they really left handed from birth or they became after being gr8 !! Seriously i have doubt!! Narendra Modi , Sachin Tendulkar, Ratan Tata , Kapil sharma, Charles Darwin, Albert Einstein and the greatest mahan shri shri shri sir Newton, why all these people are lefty?? is it like that " If you want to be great, be lefty first" or " If you are great then be lefty". Something is behind this ! SCIENCE !! We are right-brain dominated. Being “right brained” comes with all kinds of positives. We tend to be visual thinkers, we are more creative, have a greater imagination, are better at expressing feelings even non-verbally, and are great at daydreaming. This is what science says, not me. Some people around me say that i am creative, according to them creating blogs , making own laptop skin is creativity if that so then i don't think so that i am creative because i am not creating something new. I am just using things which already created. SCIENCE !!!!
The one which killed me was "Left handed college graduates go on to become 26% richer than right handed graduates" Seriously !! I will surely tell this in my interview. "where you see yourself after 5 year??" " I will see myself 26% richer than my right handed colleague, and ur company will also get 26% more profit because i am lefty" I can imagine the interviewer's reaction. I will laugh for sure.
The science also tells that Left handed person has less life than right handed person. Don't know why that surveyor want to kill lefty people so early. whatever!! I wont die early because the oldest person lived on this world was also lefty. STRANGE for all rightly !! see this rightly also feels so ordinary. 'Lefty' sounds cool!! na??
The one thing that I really want to hear "God is also left handed" !! i think he is !! Seriously. Don't laugh!!
Feeling good to share all this. I don't feel that i am different from other but it feels great to being lefty!
